Danny Flam & Co.

Danny Flam is a brass musician and audio engineer with 30+ years on trumpet, trombone, french horn and baritone. A former member of the Israel Philharmonic, he built a parallel life in the studio - layering eight to ten brass parts into rich, choir-like sections that have appeared on hip-hop, pop, film and a defining era of contemporary world music.

Seven Grammy winning contributions and/or nominations, working with artists and producers from Kanye West and JAY-Z to Elton John, Rick Ross, Ken Lewis and Just Blaze - alongside the leading voices of the Jewish music world.

The section reaches well past the American mainstream: Sephardic and Ladino songs with Sarah Aroeste, Austrian folk-rock with Andreas Gabalier, Nordic pop and soul with Finland's Niila and Iceland's Vignir Snær Vigfússon, and the klezmer and Middle Eastern lines running through Israeli music. Every one of those traditions has its own phrasing, ornaments and attack - and gets played that way.
